Ke Zhang, MD, PhD, is the Founder and interim CEO of Allerdia Inc, a startup company focused on development of rapid test solutions for diagnosis of allergic diseases utilizing rapid test platform and format. He has more than 30 years of expertise on Immunology and allergy research and business development, focusing on basic research in the field of Clinical Immunology and Allergy at UCLA as a professor of Medicine and Pediatrics in his early academic careers, and most recently focusing on small business innovative research. Dr. Zhang has made several seminal discoveries on the molecular and cellular mechanisms that control human allergic antibody isotype switch and production in his early academic careers. Dr. Zhang also was the primary mover and concept conceiver of a novel allergy therapy at Sixal Inc where Dr. Zhang was the Co-founder and CSO directing pre-clinical research & development. He has published more than 110 peer-reviewed research articles, 9 invited reviews, 5 book chapters, and held 9 patents.
