The 2012 BIO International Convention is the global event for biotechnology attracting more than 15,000 thought leaders and c-level attendees from 65+ countries.

International Participants Meeting

In Washington, DC at the end of June, we boasted more than 15,000 industry professionals that gathered from around the globe. Every single country that has identified biotechnology as a strategic priority for growth and development has an official presence at the Convention. The Convention is a major venue for promoting regional or national strengths and opportunities in biotechnology.

Each year we have a mutli-faceted group of international delegations that are well organized and add tremendous value, depth, and perspective to the Global Event for Biotechnology. Governments of more than 60 countries participate in order to attract R&D investment, promote collaborative opportunities with local (domestic) organizations, and establish recognition for their domestic market as a global biotechnology leader.
