65 Countries Attend BIO - Join in!

The BIO International Convention is a very efficient trip for you and your company to connect with life science leaders from 65 countries.  You can visit with other leaders in their BIO Exhibition booths, you can participate in the BIO Business Forum and your can attend the education sessions which are of great value.  More than 80 100 international public officials and hundreds of policy makers attend BIO. We usually also host more than 10 U.S. Governors from across the United States. 

The international community at BIO attends from more than 65 countries and 1 out of 3 BIO attendees is from outside the U.S.  At BIO you can benchmark other companies and organizations and create collaborations.  Wednesday, June 20, 2012 is International Day at BIO where we host the Scientific American Worldview Report and International Reception.

How to get involved at BIO

We encourage you to plan your trip to Boston in advance. It is important for your country to showcase and share the life science expertise to other attendees and companies at BIO. You can participate in sessions, plan private meetings, visit companies in the BIO Exhibition and network at the social events.

You can request your VISA letter if needed during the registration process or you can request the letter using this VISA Letter Request Tool that we host. 

Come to BIO as a team, ready to discuss your strategic goals. You can use the free myBIO Personal Planning Tool to search the program for topics of interest to your company and also you can review the Attendee List to make arrangements in advance.

Thousands of companies from around the world and across industry segments will be in the BIO Business Forum with a shared goal – to build relationships that lead to successful partnerships and breakthrough solutions. Most speaking opportunities are secured in the Session Submission process that was conducted August – November 2011. If you are from outside the US and have an interest in speaking at BIO, there might be a possibility to add to a session. Contact speak@bio.org and explain your expertise in the email.
