Apply to Present
Check back in 2014 to register to present at the 2014 BIO International Convention! Once your application is submitted, a selection committee will review your submission and send a response in 2-3 weeks, as not all applications will be accepted. (For more information on the types of companies who typically present, please visit our FAQ section.) Accepted presenters must purchase either the Full Convention Access or Convention Access & Partnering pass. There are presentation fees in addition to registration, which was $795 for BIO members and $1,195 for BIO non-members in 2013. Check back in 2014 for current rates.

2013 Buzz of BIO Contest
Congratulations to the 2013 Buzz of BIO winners! Companies from around the world submitted nominations for the chance to win a free registration and a company presentation in the BIO Business Forum. Then, beginning March 26th, industry leaders and executives voted for the one they thought is the most interesting and innovative.

The 2013 winner in the Technologies of Tomorrow category, Crescendo Bioscience, is a molecular diagnostics laboratory focused on rheumatology. Presentation FAQs
Q: Who can present?
A: Biotech and pharma companies, as well as a variety of other organizations who work in these areas. The majority focus on therapeutics and are R&D heavy with clear pipelines. Other companies who present range from environmental biotechs, to CROs/CMOs, Patient Advocacy Groups, universities, and more.
Q: What registration pass do I need to present?
A: You must purchase either Full Convention Access or Convention Access & Partnering pass. A package can always be upgraded if needed. Register here!
Q: Are there any additional fees associated with presenting?
A: Yes. In addition to purchasing one of the packages listed above, it is an additional $795 for BIO members and $1,195 for BIO non-members. (Sponsorship is not required to give a presentation.)

A: This is a great way to reach out to a global audience to increase your visibility in the biotech world, as well as create more partnering meetings with investors and executives. Presenting companies tend to receive more than twice the amount of meeting requests than non-presenting companies, and end up scheduling close to twice as many meetings!
Q: Are there options to help smaller companies get a chance to present?
A: We have the Buzz of BIO competition. Beginning in February, companies can enter to win free registration and a free company presentation in the BIO Business Forum. The winner is decided by voters who believe the company to be the most interesting and innovative. More information will be made available shortly.
Q: Who will attend the presentations?
A: While company presentations are a part of the BIO Business Forum, presentations are open to all International Convention attendees.
Q: Does an attendee have to have Business Forum access to enter the presentation or to schedule a partnering meeting with me later on?
A: No, they can have any registration type to enter the presentation. However, if that person is interested in scheduling a meeting with you and does not have Business Forum access, we will only be able to schedule the meeting if they have space open in their exhibit booth at a mutually convenient time. (There will be Partnering desks onsite to help with last minute meetings.)
Q: Where will the presentations be held within the Convention?
A: This year, company presentations will be held right outside the BIO Business Forum.
